Déjà vu ni datangnya dari bahase Perancis yang membawa maksud nampak sudah (already seen)...

erm.. aku malas nak explain sebenarnye.. 
malas nak translate lebih tepat

Ni ade due (2) sumber aku jumpe bagi menerangkan maksud déjà vu:

1) The experience of feeling sure that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation, even though the exact circumstances of the prior encounter are uncertain and were perhaps imagined. (wiki)

2) If we assume that the experience is actually of a remembered event, then déjà vu probably occurs  because an original experience was neither fully attended to nor elaborately encoded in memory. (skeptic)

Sabri Alwi: Haih! déjà vu je tu..

Badrul Salleh:  déjà vu MUNG!
